Don’t Miss the Comedy Party at Democracy Brewing This Saturday
You might already know Democracy Brewing as a fun, casual spot to grab a local craft beer. But did you know it’s also a beacon of comedy in Boston? It’s one of the few spots where you can enjoy an indie comedy show alongside a delicious pint and some fresh food, thanks to the weekly Comedy Party at Democracy Brewing.
Every Saturday evening at 8 p.m., Democracy Brewing’s back room turns into a temporary comedy club. Comedians from around the city and across the country flock here throughout the year to bring their fresh takes on current events and self-deprecating anecdotes about daily life to you and your friends in a humorous way. Tickets are required ($20) for the two-hour show, and the event does sometimes sell out, so make sure you RSVP in advance. Then come to the brewery early to grab a pint and a bite in the taproom—all of the gastropub bites are made from scratch! Or simply take your craft beer right back to your seat in the event space and sip on it between laughs, courtesy of that evening’s comedian.
